Fonbnk is a global marketplace to buy, sell, and trade mobile Airtime. Airtime can be used to buy cUSD and Ethereum, which can then be sent to Valora.
Fonbnk offers the option to add these tokens in the following countries through select phone carriers:
- Nigeria: MTN
- Kenya: Safaricom
Here’s how to buy crypto using Airtime:
Step 1 - Go to Valora’s Home screen and tap on the green Buy button.
Step 2 - Enter the details for your purchase.
- Select the token you want to buy. Tap Next.
- Enter the amount you want to add. Tap Next.
- Under Select Payment Method, tap the section labeled Airtime. If you do not see Airtime, you may not have met its minimum purchase amount, or you may need to choose a different token or provider.
Step 3 - Complete your transaction on Fonbnk’s widget.
- Confirm the details of your Fonbnk account. Tap Next: Verify your phone.
- Verify your phone details.
- Complete your order.
