Get rewards for referring your friends!
Invite your friends to Valora, and after they successfully connect their phone number and hold $5 USD worth of eligible funds for 7 days, you will both receive 0.5 cUSD.
Eligible funds (must be on the Celo network):
- cUSD
- cEUR
- cREAL
- USDT
- USDC
Note: Rewards are limited to the first 14,000 people, so don’t wait!
Eligibility:
- Participant’s app version must be 1.55 or greater
- Prior to participating, users must have a phone number connected to their Valora wallet.
- Participation in the referral campaign is for select users only. You are eligible if the campaign is advertised on your Invite screen.
Here's how you can participate:
- Go to Menu > Invite and confirm you are eligible to participate in the referral campaign.
- Tap Share Invite.
- Share your link with your friends.
Your referral link will change every time you generate a new invite, but they will all be linked to you and never expire.
Here’s how your friends can participate:
- Download Valora through your referral link.
If on iOS, they will be prompted to allow Valora to paste from your clipboard. They must allow this for the referral link to work. - Create a Valora wallet.
- Connect their phone number.
- Obtain $5 USD worth of cUSD, cEUR, cREAL, USDT, or USDC on Celo within 7 days of downloading Valora, then hold these funds in their Valora wallet for at least 7 days.
After completing all steps, you and your friend will receive a push notification (if enabled) letting you know your reward has been added to your wallets.
When will I receive my rewards?
Rewards are distributed periodically. Rewards will be delivered in cUSD directly to your Valora wallet and your friend’s wallet after the 7-day holding period. Contact our support team if you have not received your rewards 10 days after your friend deposits the qualifying funds.
Who can I invite?
We encourage you to invite as many friends as you’d like, but rewards are only issued for the first 25 friends that you refer and who complete the required steps. Your friends must also be new to Valora and use a phone number that has never been connected to a Valora wallet.
Referrals are only valid if their Valora wallet was created after 8:00 a.m. UTC on April 2, 2024.
Why did my rewards not show up?
There are a few possible reasons:
- Your friend still needs to deposit funds and/or complete the 7-day holding period.
- Your friend did not download Valora via your referral link. If they downloaded Valora without using the referral link, we will not be able to credit the reward. Your friend may have also downloaded Valora using someone else’s referral link.
- Valora only issues a reward if the invitee is new to Valora. You will not receive rewards if your friend’s phone number was previously linked to a Valora wallet.
- Your friend needs to join Valora and connect their phone number.
- Before sending the invite, you didn’t connect your phone number to your Valora wallet. Here’s a guide on how to connect your phone number.

Rewards are limited! Rewards are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and inviters can only claim rewards for up to 25 referrals. Invitees must also be one of the first 25 referrals to receive rewards.
Additionally, rewards are limited to the first 14,000 new Valora users or until the promotion is closed.
