What is Ethereum, and what is it used for?
Ethereum is a decentralized, open-source, and distributed computing platform that enables the creation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dapps.)
Gas fees
All transaction fees on Ethereum require gas, which is paid in ETH. This means that ETH is always needed in the wallet alongside any other currency received.
"Gas" is a unit of measurement and refers to the cost of recording a transaction on the Ethereum blockchain. The "gas price" is the amount of ETH (measured in gwei) paid to validators for processing transactions on the Ethereum network.
Valora clearly displays all fees to avoid surprises or hidden costs. Although fees fluctuate with demand, efforts are made to source the best rate available.

Importing ERC-20 tokens
Ethereum tokens can be added to the Valora wallet or purchased through integrated partners like Ramp, MoonPay, Coinbase Pay, Bitmama, and Fonbnk, depending on the country. To purchase Ethereum tokens, tap Buy on the home screen and select the desired amount of ETH.
Note: Available providers may vary depending on the amount of crypto being purchased.
