Withdrawing through a crypto exchange can be done in a few easy steps. Here’s what you need before you begin:
- An account with an exchange that supports CELO.
Examples: Coinbase, Binance, OKX. - The address for the Celo network on your exchange account.
- CELO.
If you have cUSD, USDC, or any other Celo assets, swap them to CELO in Valora before sending them to your exchange. Most centralized exchanges only support CELO.
Step 1 - On Valora’s Home screen, tap on the green Send button.
Step 2 - Enter the address from your exchange.
Make sure this address is for the Celo network. We recommend copying and pasting your address and checking the first and last four characters are correct.
If you are unsure, check with your exchange to make sure you have the correct address. Remember, you can send a very small test transaction to ensure the address and asset are correct. Check out more tips in our best practices article.
Step 3 - Enter the your asset details.
- Select CELO as the asset you want to send.
- Enter the amount you wish to send.
If you send your maximum amount, make sure you have funds available to cover the gas fees for the transaction. - Tap Review to view the details of the transaction, including the estimated fees and total cost of the transaction.
Step 4 - Confirm the transaction details are correct, then tap Send.
