How to Import a Token

Valora supports many tokens on its supported networks. If a token is not in Valora, it can be manually imported with its contract address.

Step 1 - Obtain and copy the token's contract address:

  1. Look up the wallet address on a blockchain explorer
  2. Locate the transaction, and open the transaction details. The token should be linked to its token page.
  3. Copy the token's contract address in the details section.

Step 2 - Open Valora and navigate to the list of tokens.

  1. Tap Wallet.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the tokens list and tap Import Token.

Step 3 - Enter the details for the token.

  1. Select the network.
  2. Paste the contract address.
  3. Tap Import.

FAQ

Can imported tokens be used in transactions?

Yes. Imported tokens can be swapped and sent to other wallet addresses. Please review our best practices before sending.

Why do imported tokens disappear?

Token imports are saved to the device's memory. If Valora is reset, this information is erased. Imported tokens will need to be re-imported after restoring Valora.

Why are imported tokens shown when there is a zero balance?

Usually, tokens with a zero balance are not displayed. Imported tokens will always be displayed, even with zero balance.
