The Recovery Phrase is a set of 12 or 24 words that allows a wallet to derive its private key. This is the only way to access the Valora wallet, and no one, including the Valora team, can access the wallet balance without the Recovery Phrase. Read more about self-custodial wallets to learn more.
Users can access the Recovery Phrase by tapping the gear icon in the upper right corner and navigating to Security & Privacy > Recovery Phrase. A PIN is required to view the Recovery Phrase.
It is important to write down the Recovery Phrase and store it in a safe location, ensuring that it cannot be stolen or damaged, and remains accessible when needed.
