All transactions on the Celo blockchain incur one or more fees. These fees help ensure the Celo blockchain is maintained and secure.
Fees are paid using CELO or a Celo stablecoin. Valora will use the asset with the highest balance in your account. While this method of paying fees is available for other wallets to implement, some wallets only support paying fees with CELO. Please keep this in mind if you access your Valora address on another wallet.
Fees are always displayed clearly in Valora, so there are no surprises or hidden costs. While fees fluctuate with the demand on the Celo Network, currently, most fees are less than $0.001 USD.

Network Fee
The Celo Network has minimal transaction fees supporting the security and speed of transactions. Valora does not collect these fees; fees go directly to the validators supporting the network and the Celo Community Fund.
Exchange Fees
Exchange fees are applicable when swapping between assets in the app.
Other Fees (third parties)
You may encounter other types of fees when using third-party decentralized applications or dapps. These are fees associated with using dapps and are not associated with Valora. Users are encouraged to do their own research before interacting with dapps.
