Troubleshooting a missing token

A newly received token might not appear in Valora for several reasons. The most common reasons include a lag in recognizing a new token, the token being unsupported, or a token sent on an unsupported network.

Network Delays

It may take a few minutes for transactions to appear in Valora. If the transaction doesn’t appear immediately, try refreshing the screen. Go to the Home screen and swipe down on the activity feed. A loading icon will appear as the feed refreshes.

If it still does not appear, try to:

  • Force quit the app
  • Update to the latest app version (check in the App Store or Play Store)
  • Contact support by going to Valora’s Menu > Help > Contact or emailing support@valoraapp.com.

Unsupported token? Use the "Import Token" feature.

Sometimes, this may not be a token that Valora supports by default. Users can obtain the token's contract address and manually import the token. Here's how:

Step 1 - Obtain and copy the token's contract address:

  1. Look up the wallet address on a blockchain explorer
  2. Locate the transaction, and open the transaction details. The token should be linked to its token page.
  3. Copy the token's contract address in the details section.

Step 2 - Open Valora and navigate to the list of tokens.

  1. Tap Wallet.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the tokens list and tap Import Token.

Step 3 - Enter the details for the token.

  1. Select the network.
  2. Paste the contract address.
  3. Tap Import.

Unsupported Network? Restore on another wallet.

If a token was sent from a network not supported by Valora, refer to the list of supported networks to check if it can be accessed in Valora.

For tokens sent on an unsupported network, the Valora address will need to be restored using another wallet that supports that specific network.
