How to restore a Valora wallet using a Recovery Phrase

If the Recovery Phrase is available, users can restore their Valora wallet by following the steps below. Alternatively, users can use the Email & Phone Backup option if it has been set up.

Do not share the Recovery Phrase with anyone, as it provides access to all funds at this address. The Recovery Phrase consists of randomly assigned words linked to the Celo address. It cannot be edited, modified, or changed.

Steps to restore the Valora wallet:

1. Install the Valora app.
2. Tap I already have a wallet.
3. Review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
4. Create a 6-digit PIN, then confirm the PIN.
   • For added security, use a PIN different from the one used to unlock the phone.
5. Enable biometrics (optional).
6. Choose the recovery method: 
   1. Tap From recovery phrase.
   2. Enter the Recovery Phrase.
   3. Tap Restore.
7. Done!
