Valora facilitates the connection between dapps and a Valora wallet. Keep reading for step-by-step instructions.
Every transaction requires approval. The user needs to return to Valora for each of these approvals. If the PIN has not been entered recently, Valora will ask for it.
New users are encouraged to review these best practices before using dapps.
Step 1 - Go to Valora's home page and tap Discover
To connect to a dapp not listed in Valora, users must access the dapp's web page using a web browser. Use caution when connecting to dapps. Only connect to trusted dapps and verify that the URL does not belong to a malicious website.
Step 2 - Access dapp
- Scroll down to Explore Dapps section.
- Tap Explore All.
- Locate the dapp by scrolling, using the search bar or filter chips.
- Tap the dapp. If on iOS, you will be redirected to an external browser.
Step 3 - Connect dapp to Valora
- This process will vary by dapp. Most dapps should have a button to connect to a wallet. This may appear on the screen or be found in their menu.
- After tapping the button, select Valora from the list of available wallets. The user may need to select WalletConnect > View All first.
- If not automatically redirected to Valora, manually switch to it. Wait for the approval popup to appear, then tap Allow.
If the user is having trouble connecting to a dapp, try these steps:
- Go to Menu > Settings > Connected Dapps and disconnect from all dapps.
- Force-close Valora.
- Close the browser tab where your dapp is open.
- Wait a few minutes.
- Try to connect to the dapp again.
If the user has trouble submitting transactions in a dapp, please ensure the wallet has enough funds to cover any transaction fees.
