How to add funds to Valora in Nigeria

Nigerian users have several options for funding their Valora wallets. These include purchasing funds through third-party providers, earning through microtasks or UBI (Universal Basic Income), and receiving funds from another wallet or exchange.

Purchase

Valora offers options to purchase certain Celo and Ethereum tokens through Fonbnk Airtime and Bitmama. More details can be found in the following articles:

Universal Basic Income

GoodDollar offers UBI on the Celo network. Users can connect to the GoodDapp to claim daily UBI directly from Valora. G$ can be claimed once the GoodDollar account is linked to the Valora address:

  • Connect to the GoodDollar dapp and tap “Claim Now,” or
  • Go to the Valora Tokens page and tap on Dapp Positions. If rewards are available, tap “Claim Rewards” at the bottom of the page.

Microtasks

Users can earn $JMPT by completing microtasks through JumpTask. Microtasks are small tasks, such as surveys or watching ads, where users get paid for completion

Transfer

Funds can also be transferred from another compatible wallet or crypto exchange, such as Binance. Ensure that Valora supports the token being sent. Read more about best practices in our article: What do I need to know before sending tokens to and from Valora?
