After downloading the app, users can proceed to create a wallet:

Create a PIN and enable biometrics.
The PIN will be required for every transaction. It is recommended that the PIN be memorable but not easy to guess. -
Backup your Recovery Phrase (CRITICAL)
It is advised that users backup their Recovery Phrase before funding the wallet. This should be done privately and in a secure environment where the Recovery Phrase can be safely stored.

Connect a phone number (optional)
Users can connect their phone number to send funds directly to the phone numbers of friends and family on Valora. Further details on the benefits of connecting a phone number are available here. Once connected, users can sync their contact information.
